Description
Catalina 80cu-ft Aluminium Dive Cylinder
The Catalina 80cu ft 207bar 11.1 litres tank is constructed out of high grade aluminium meeting the rigid Australian safety standards. It is negatively buoyant when empty. Also, the tank is rugged enough for both rental use and recreational sports diving. Its working pressure is 207 bar, but its testing pressure is actually 345 bar. Lastly, Catalina cylinders come with a 10-year manufacturing defect warranty.
Optional add-on: a Tank valve
If purchasing the tank with a valve, you will receive a DIN valve with Yoke adapter. Above all, the valve itself is a heavy duty design. Furthermore, it has a smooth operating mechanism and multi-ported burst disc plug for added safety. This is one of the highest flow cylinder valves available today. If you want to use the tank with a DIN regulator, you simply remove the adapter, and vice versa. As a result, this DIN/YOKE design allows divers to be free to choose which configuration they wish to use.

Scuba Tank Maintenance Tips:
1. Keep Water Out
It’s critical to keep the inside of any tank, especially a steel tank, dry. Both steel and aluminum are subject to internal oxidation. This is a process that contaminates the air in the tank and weakens the metal.
2. Have Your Tank Routinely Inspected
Annual visual inspection, as per requirement, is your best insurance against corrosion, cracking and premature demise of your tank. A good visual will detect minor corrosion and correct it before it gets worse.
